A nourishing thought I had today came to me while I was taking a bath after a long day at work.
As I was relaxing in the tub, a memory came up from when I was little…
We used to bathe using just a bucket of water.
We had a copper bowl, and we would use it to pour water over ourselves.
As I looked down at my toes with the water running over them, I felt so grateful to be able to lay in a nice, hot bath with eucalyptus bath salts.
It made me pause and really appreciate how far I’ve come.
As a steward of my money, I sometimes question the small things I spend on… but in that moment, I realized nourishing myself in this way was needed.
