The Small Choices That Are Changing My Life

I’ve been thinking a lot about the choices I’ve made throughout my life lately.

The big choices that changed my life completely…
but also the small choices I make on a daily basis.

Those small choices add up.
It’s like a snowball effect—sometimes no one sees it building until it’s so big it feels out of control.

The ones no one really sees… those are the moments that matter most.

What I eat.
What I allow.
What I ignore.
What I finally decide I won’t ignore anymore.

Last week I wrote about my marriage, and the things I overlooked for a long time.

And if I’m being honest, it wasn’t just in my relationship.

It showed up in other areas of my life too.

In my health.
In my habits.
In the way I would tell myself “it’s okay” when something didn’t feel right.

But I’m starting to shift that now.

Not perfectly. Not all at once.

Just in small ways.

Choosing better foods.
Paying attention to what my body needs.
Being more honest with myself.

Even something as simple as what I drink…
being more mindful of what I’m putting into my body.

These aren’t huge changes on their own.

But together, they’re building something different.

A different version of me.

Someone who listens.
Someone who pays attention.
Someone who doesn’t ignore what matters anymore.

And I think that’s where real change starts.

Not in one big moment…
but in the small choices we make every day.

I’m learning to be more intentional with my health and my life, one step at a time.
