Valentine Desserts on My Mind

February always brings out a certain kind of creativity in me. The season itself quietly invites sweetness, color, and care.

Last year, I made pink strawberry macarons with gold flakes. It recently came across in my photo memories, and they stopped me for a moment. They were simple, soft, and beautiful.

At the time, I knew they would not be extravagant. I wanted something simple and elegant — something beautiful without trying too hard. I enjoyed each step of making them, without overthinking, just letting the process unfold.

As January flows by, ideas have been drifting in. Yesterday, I had a lunch date with my
boyfriend, and afterward we both got ice cream. I had a cup of green tea and strawberry ice cream. It was simple, but so enjoyable. I found myself savoring each bite, fully present in the moment. Later that day, thoughts of Valentine desserts came to mind — cake pops, macarons, truffles. I started imagining how they might come together as a small, thoughtful Valentine set.

These ideas pass through, leaving behind a sense of inspiration
